Ischia Holidays
Enjoy one of our spectacular holidays in Ischia, the ‘Green Island’ in the Bay of Naples. You arrive into picturesque Ischia Port, a beautiful volcanic lagoon flanked by rugged cliffs and subtropical foliage. Ischia is famous for its thermal springs, with outdoor spa pools next to fine beaches.
Throughout your holiday in Ischia, you’ll see lemon and fig trees, cacti and exotic birds. The island also has a huge, historic castle, featured in the film ‘The Talented Mr Ripley.’ Another must on holidays in Ischia is a visit to La Mortella, where the composer Sir William Walton created an exotic hillside garden. Take time out for one of our holidays to Ischia: your body and soul will benefit.
ISCHIA Known as the 'island of well-being' due to its famous hot spring waters, it is made up of a number of small towns, separated by long sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and mountains.

Out & About
You should visit the Aragonese Castle, which you can go inside and explore both sides of (it also houses a curious museum of torture instruments!), or simply enjoy a coffee or light lunch in a rather splendid setting. Elsewhere, Lacco Ameno's museum offers up some archeological finds. Taxis, boats and buses are all good ways to explore the island.
Activities
Its famous thermal baths and hot springs, thanks to its volcanic past, are a major draw for visitors, with Casamicciola, Forio and Ischia Porto the main spa resorts on the island. You'll find other 'termes' (spas) around the island and most hotels also offer thermal pools and other forms of related facilities including massage, saunas and health and beauty treatments. Away from the spas, you'll find excellent walking and boat trips to keep you occupied.
Beaches
You're never far from the sea in Ischia (it has nearly 40 kilometres of fabulous coastline), and it's got some truly lovely stretches of sand at each of the resort towns. Ischia is very popular in July and August with Italians from the mainland, so can be cosy on the main beaches; a quieter alternative is to take a water taxis to smaller coves, or explore yourself, by foot.
