Your Itinerary

DAY 1 to 2: Depart UK.

Fly to Auckland, via Singapore and Sydney.

DAY 3: Arrive Auckland.

On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for the night. The rest of the day is yours to relax in the 'City of Sails', situated on an isthmus with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Tasman Sea on the other.

DAY 4: Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua.

This morning's city sightseeing tour includes visits to the Westhaven Marina, Auckland University, Harbour Bridge, the Viaduct Harbour and the colonial styled Parnell Village, with its cafés, restaurants and charming boutique-type stores. Afterwards head to the Waitomo Glow-worm caves where an incredible landscape of caves and limestone formations are inhabited by thousands of glow-worms. Continue over the Mamaku Ranges to Rotorua.

DAY 5: Rotorua.

Today learn about the country's agricultural industry at the Agrodome before continuing to Rainbow Springs, home to rainbow trout and the flightless Kiwi bird in its nocturnal 'Kiwi House'. Next travel to the thermal area of Te Puia, where you will see New Zealand's largest geyser, boiling mud pools and silica terraces.

DAY 6: Rotorua - Queenstown.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Queenstown, a beautiful city located on the stunning shores of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by grandiose mountains.

DAY 7: Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown.

Journey into Fiordland National Park, through the Homer Tunnel and onto spectacular Milford Sound for a cruise on this awe-inspiring 16 kilometre inlet, lined with soaring walls of rock. Rising above the sound is the vast, usually snow-capped form of Mitre Peak.

DAY 8: Queenstown.

Enjoy the day at leisure. Nicknamed the 'Adventure Capital' of the world, the city is overlooked by the Remarkables mountain range. Why not join our optional excursion on a thrilling Kawarau Jet Boat Ride on the Shotover and Kawarau rivers.

DAY 9: Queenstown - Twizel.

Enjoy fantastic views as you journey through the snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and rugged mountain scenery of New Zealand's Southern Alps towards Twizel.

DAY 10: Twizel - Christchurch - Melbourne.

This morning, enjoy sightseeing of Mount Cook National Park before driving to Christchurch airport for your flight to Melbourne.

DAY 11: Melbourne.

The capital of Victoria, Melbourne's charm lies in the magnificently preserved Victorian architecture of its public buildings and gracious homes. This morning your city tour will take in the main highlights, starting in the city centre, then on to the exclusive suburbs of South Yarra and Toorak and finally to the Westgate Bridge for panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay. Your afternoon is free.

DAY 12: Melbourne.

The day is yours to relax and explore. Perhaps join one of our great value optional excursions, ranging from winery tours in the Yarra Valley, to a ride along the Great Ocean Road to see the 'Twelve Apostles' rising majestically from the Southern Ocean. Or for a unique dining experience, what about an historic tramcar restaurant?

DAY 13: Melbourne - Alice Springs.

Today fly to the outback town of Alice Springs where an afternoon tour takes in the Old Telegraph Station, the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

DAY 14: Alice Springs - Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Drive to Uluru, the world's largest monolith, which is steeped in the mystery of legend, mythology and folklore. Travel to the 'Sunset Strip' vantage point for canapés and champagne whilst experiencing one of nature's greatest spectacles - Uluru at sunset.

DAY 15: Uluru (Ayers Rock) - Cairns.

Start your day with a morning tour of another sacred Aboriginal site, the Olgas. Known as the 'Heads of Giants', these incredible formations comprise of 28 spectacular rock domes, which are divided by a series of high gorges. Afterwards, fly to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

DAY 16: Cairns - Great Barrier Reef - Cairns.

Visit the world's largest coral reef, made up from over 3,000 individual reefs and home to over 1,500 species of fish. Your included catamaran cruise to Green Island, a 6,000 year old coral cay, will offer opportunities for strolling through tropical rainforest, lazing on white coral sands, swimming and snorkelling, or taking an optional glass bottom boat ride. DAY 17: Cairns.

Set amongst lush rainforests, soaring peaks and the ocean, Cairns has many attractions, including the pier marketplace, the Esplanade and a scenic railway which runs to the nearby town of Kuranda, where you could take a cable car ride over Australia's World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy.

DAY 18: Cairns - Sydney.

Fly to Sydney for three nights. Sydney is Australia's oldest and largest city, boasting one of the most beautiful harbours in the world, home to the instantly recognisable Sydney Harbour Bridge and world famous architectural wonder - the Sydney Opera House.

DAY 19: Sydney.

Your morning sightseeing tour will take you through the heart of Sydney. You'll see Chinatown and Darling Harbour and historical Mrs Macquarie's Chair, where you will have a great view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. You'll also enjoy a cruise around the main harbour.

DAY 20: Sydney.

A full day to further explore this city.

DAY 21: Sydney - UK.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK, or extend you stay in Fiji.

DAY 22: Home landing in the UK.
