Today is free to relax or explore the many sights in the Orlando area. Perhaps visit one of Orlando's famous theme parks, or seek out something a little different - the city is home to a fantastic array of museums and galleries, brilliant shopping, beautiful golf courses and award winning spas.
This morning, head to picturesque St. Augustine, the oldest European city in the United States, founded by Juan Ponce de Leon in 1565, in his search for the legendary Fountain of Youth. Enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride through tree lined and narrow brick streets that highlight over 450 years of history. Afterwards there is free time to explore St. Augustine on your own. Stroll along St George street, a pedestrianised mall full of galleries, boutiques and one of a kind stores. Wander through the courtyard of the St Augustine City Hall and Lightner Museum to the oldest indoor swimming pool in Florida. This is now a restaurant but the interior is preserved. Perhaps visit the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse in the U.S. or venture onto the shore to see the 17th century Castillo De San Marcos National Monument. This evening why not relax with a walk on sandy Cocoa Beach?
Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Centre are the hub of America's space operations. A NASA tour provides insights into the achievements of America's space programme. We then head south to Fort Lauderdale where you will stay for two nights.
This morning, enjoy an excursion to Miami Beach. There will be time to explore the colorful art deco buildings, and beautiful palm-lined beach. Return to Fort Lauderdale and the rest of the day is yours at leisure.
Today, head to Key Largo, where America's largest coral reef protects the shoreline. Travel along the Overseas Highway, crossing 42 bridges through the Florida Keys to picturesque Key West, the southernmost town in continental United States. The suggestion for this evening is a visit to Mallory Square to view the spectacular sunset and then a stroll on Duval Street with its colourful cafés.
Enjoy a full day exploring the tropical island city of Key West, boasting Victorian homes, gingerbread conch houses and mansions on the National Register. You may want to see Ernest Hemingway's home, Harry Truman's Little Whitehouse, or the John Audubon House and Gardens. No trip would be complete without a visit to the Southernmost Point in the US, situated less than 90 miles north of Cuba.
Head back to the mainland and the subtropical wilderness of the Everglades, and board an airboat for an included thrilling ride through the extensive swamplands. Afterwards, travel towards Naples and after a brief stop on Fifth Avenue South, Naples' Main Street continue to your hotel for the evening.
Begin the day with an included visit to Fort Myers, the winter home and laboratory of the famous inventor Thomas Edison. Enjoy a tour of the museum which houses a large collection of his inventions. Be sure not to miss the enormous banyan tree in the tropical, botanical garden and then step through the always open 'Friendship Gate' to visit Henry Ford's winter home. Later, cross Tampa Bay over the impressive Sunshine Skyway Bridge to the resort of Clearwater Beach, with its lovely white sandy beaches. In the evening, why not join us for an optional dinner cruise along Florida's beautiful inland waters?
